A St Andrews dinner review…very late!

After being really busy with so many things and after only really recovering now I thought it would be apt to write a review of our annual St Andrews dinner. In short the event was throughly enjoyed by all who attended and the highlight of the night, the speeches, failed to disappoint. Bill Aitken provided a very funny speech drawing on his years working within the legal system and in the Scottish Parliament, with Lord James providing an historical backdrop to St Andrew, warning against politicisation of our National holiday.
After the dinner many of the younger and more rowdy members of the group consumed a shandy or two and then hotfooted back to mine where there was more fun of an alcohol based nature. All in all it was a fantastic night and a massive thank you to all who attended, especially Bill and Lord James.
