Canvassing in East Renfrewshire

Last night a group of us joined Richard Cook, our Westminster candidate for East Renfrewshire, out on the campaign trail in Barrhead. Turnout was superb, with about 15 of us doing our best to spread the Conservative message as we try to unseat Jim Murphy at the next election. Considering Barrhead is one of our weaker areas traditionally in the constituency the response we had was very positive and we recorded many new Tory voters. Afterwards we retired to the pub where we had a drink to warm the cockles. All in all an enjoyable night, as it always is when we have such a large group. As always ourselves and Richard would welcome any new folk who wanted to get involved.
